What we measured
One run collected 4,578 ads from 1,154 advertisers across 19 well-known domains. Of the 2,958 ads the Transparency Center classifies as text, 2,866 (96.9%) are published as one rendered image, not as separate words.
What that means for your data
For those ads the Actor returns the image URL and sets contentStatus to imageOnly, so you always know why there is no headline. It does not read text out of images.
The format mix
| Format | Ads |
|---|---|
| text | 2,958 |
| image | 867 |
| video | 753 |
