FAQ
What does the App Store & Google Play Reviews Scraper do?
It exports reviews from the Apple App Store and Google Play for the apps and countries you list. Both stores come back in one flat schema with the same fields on every row.
What input does it need?
A list of App Store IDs or links and Google Play package names or links, mixed in one list. You can add countries, languages, a sort order, a limit per app and a since date.
What fields does each review have?
Store, app ID, country, review ID, rating, title, text, an ISO date, app version, helpful votes and a review link. Google Play rows also carry the developer reply and its date when there is one.
How much does it cost?
It costs $0.12 per 1,000 reviews saved to your dataset. Errors, retries and duplicates are never charged.
How many App Store reviews can I get?
Apple's public feed stops at 500 reviews per country and sort order. The Actor tells you when that limit is reached, and adding countries collects more because each country has its own limit.
Does it collect reviewer names?
No, reviewer names and profile links are off by default. They are added only when you turn on the reviewer information option.
Can it collect only new reviews?
Yes, set since to a date and only reviews from that date on are returned. Save the input as a task and schedule it weekly to keep a running feed.
What happens when Apple returns an empty page?
The Actor retries the page, carries on to the next one and tries the empty page again later. Any page that stays empty is listed in the run summary, so you know what may be missing.
Can one run cover several countries?
Yes, every country you list is fetched separately. Every row carries the country it came from.
What does it not do?
It returns no developer replies for App Store reviews, because Apple's public feed has none. It cannot go past Apple's limit of 500 reviews per country and sort order.
